Deck the halls with iPhone stories - that's what Apple and select members of the press will do this coming March 8 at the company's campus. But it won't be about the excitement when they first popped open the iPhone retail box. Instead, they'll be talking about the long overdue Apple iPhone and iPod software development kit (SDK) which was planned to be released this February. And because it hasn't crept out of Cupertino yet, it might be second nature to pay a visit and check up on it. |

Heads up to those who prefer to use third-party iPhone programs on their iPhone: there's a possibility that future third-party iPhone and iPod touch applications written with the still unreleased Software Developer's Kit (SDK) will be hosted by Apple on iTunes. There's also some talks about it working only with the next version of iPhone's firmware update, 1.1.4. Read more about it in the full article. |

The US$ 1,500 Tesla computing powerhouse might not be a PC-only affair after all - not with the news we've just heard. It looks like NVIDIA is gearing up to compete in the Apple segment of the personal computing market, and their latest offering includes the next-generation of GPUs: the general purpose graphics processing units or GPGPUs for short. More on that at the full story. |

Jiggy is more than just five letter word with a jelly groove to it. Apparently it's also the name of a new application authoring suite for
the Apple iPhone, and it could make some serious waves in the Apple
homebrew community. And maybe after that little dance party you're throwing to get the
mood swinging, you can hop over to the full story for the lowdown on
PsyKoh LLC's offering for the budding Apple homebrew developer. |

Touch technology can't probably get any better than Alex Lelievre's ProRemote application for the iPhone and iPod touch. It hooks up with Pro Tools LE and allows you to control the audio settings on your Mac.But don't expect to see the final version of the software until the developer can get his hands on the native iPhone SDK and get an actual certification from the big-time mobile phone company.
