This
open source firmware that turns your iPod sound to crunk is the answer
to satisfy a meticulous audiophile's listening needs. iPod users might
findRockbox to be a little confusing at first because aside from iPod's
click-wheel it also employs a similar nested-menu navigation. It
includes a long lists of fonts, games and themes. Album art is not
supported by the main builds, but can be added by patches. Cross-fading
your tracks (something that is still missing from Apple's firmware), is
also made available to users who would like to play DJ.Managing your files have also been made simpler. Using a nested-folder system, means you can just drag and drop files straight from your computer eliminating the use of applications like iTunes or gtkPod.
