Apparently, iPhone 3Gs grow on trees. If current whispers about Apple's future plans hold out, we just might be getting a deluge of iPhone 3G units in the market. Now I've heard of Metal Gear Solid 4 shipping in numbers of 3 million copies worldwide. But this... 45 million iPhones?! Whoa.

Developer jonz (Jonathan A. Zdiarski) was recently able to give the NES emulator NES.app a new upgrade, bumping up the iPhone homebrew emulator to version 2.3.1. Despite the odd complaint here and there, the iPhone 3G is still a smashing success. However, if you own the Bose SoundDock, you might find yourself as one of those with complaints as the device apparently doesn't charge the iPhone 3G. The Need for Speed ProStreet gig didn't work out for Electronic Arts and internal studio Black Box, but the superstar publisher decided they could still make a turnaround for the franchise again, starting with Need for Speed Undercover. Perhaps guided by the popularity of night and illegal street racing movies, Need for Speed Undercover's design resettled for the open sandbox design of Most Wanted with a different story. A story, they say, that will include Mission Impossible 3's Maggie Q.
