Liquifile 1.0 is a new file browser for OS X that's been developed by Carsten Waldeck, Maximilian Goetzfried and Iven Schmidt. This is supposedly an alternative Finder but with features that will allow users to see a bigger pictures of their files. Developers of the Liquifile are also saying that this new browser is ideal for searching and browsing the Internet without having separate interfaces. Organizing and finding files (even those created years before) will be very easy with the file browsing features of the Liquifile 1.0. The creators have provided a free 30-day trial of Liquifile 1.0 which will also have a new version released soon. The upcoming version will include basic finder functions such as copy, rename, delete, drag and drop, among others. Keyboard shortcuts and a powerful context menu will also be available with the next version. (It's not free, but money's not the developers' main focus - in their words, they want to bring about a knowledge browsing and user interface revolution, and whatever money comes their way will help speed this up. Sounds good to us!) For the moment, you might want to try out the new browser, Liquifile 1.0 and then send your comments to the developers of the program. They want to hear your reactions and suggestions about their project via your comments. Download: [Liquifile 1.0] |
