Uh-oh. Scammers abound eBay, and for sure, the hype on Apple's much-publicized product, the iPhone, has brought out the residents of Scammerland to prey on hopeful Apple fans and the gullible many. The iPhone is yet to be released but some have been bidding almost one thousand dollars just to get the dibs on the alleged pre-launch release iPhone units.

For the record, the iPhone is scheduled for release this June 2007. There have been plenty of rumors about an early release for the iPhone, but we've never heard of anything official on that topic yet.
