Homebrew developers nervegas and jordan seem to be working overtime to improve their popular NES emulator homebrew for Apple's iPhone with the latest version of NES.app.One of the biggest additions that NES.app v1.11.2 has to offer is the new bookmark support, which allows easy access to the list of games you have loaded into the application. Also, the developers were able to isolate the bug which causes random crashes on the iPhone SW 1.0.2 and below. As always, other small cosmetic tweaks were also added to brush up this already nifty little application. For those of you who are interesting in downloading the latest version of NES.app, we have an archive available through the QJ.NET download link provided below. Just make sure to check out the readme file that goes with the program. Here's the updated changelog since we posted the previous version in NES.app v1.10.0: 1.11.0 [nervegas]

It's been a little more than a week since homebrew developers nervegas and jordan updated their much celebrated NES.app, an old-school NES emulator for the Apple's iPhone, with its previous version of v1.9.1. Considering the amount of time since their last update, only a few minor cosmetic changes were added since then.
However, the number of changes, no matter how insignificant it may seem, shows the dedication that nervegas and his development team put into this open source homebrew application. For those of you who are interested in downloading this nifty little emulator, just make sure to check out the readme file that goes with the program. Here's a list of the changes since the last update: 1.10.0 [nervegas]

Of course, this doesn't mean that you'll be hooking up the Zapper to your Apple gadget soon. Instead, you'll be tapping the screen to make shots in games such as Duck Hunt and Hogan's Alley. While this may seem like making the game a bit too easy - tapping is more accurate than taking aim and shooting, after all - it's still a lot of fun. On to the changelog!
