The iVideoToGo, from InterVideo, is a downloadable video library organizer and file converter that will convert your various video files (DVD, etc.) into MP4 formats for the PSP and video iPod. This program'snot satisfied with simply converting or compressing files, however. It can encode higher-resolution MP4 files so they can be viewed at a higher quality on TV screens. It will read and compress a wide variety of file formats, such as DVD-Video, AVI, H.264,
MPEG, WMV, MOV, DivX, ASF, DVR-MS, and 3GP. And it also supports H.264, the latest high-quality, high-compression file format. It is designed for ease of use. The Platinum version of the program features automatic synchronization between the PC and the iPod or PSP. It will even batch-convert a library of files while you're asleep or otherwise occupied, all ready to be uploaded into your device when you get back. The iVideoToGo Platinum is available for $29.95 from the product website. System Requirements (minimum)

» 30 bucks
hey i paid 30 bucks for this but only because i tested the progam and was able to convert my .wma files very quickly. and for me time is short i dont have all nite to wait for the file to convert to wake up the next day and its 50 videos of 150 mb compressed to 50 megs showing only sound and a green screen, this fixed my problem and i have had it searching for a converter program that will convert quickly not even sonys psp manager would do the job this program did.. with sony i keep getting codec errors when converting .wmv. i think its work the money.

» 30 bucks down the drain
should i take the word of someone who gets there codecs mixed up and can't spell worth? wma files should convert quickly since they are audio files. better programs that do the job for free.

sorry i ment the wmv windows media videos. i have used psp video 9 and winnydows xdivx4psp. i have seasons of episodes that i enjoy watching on the go and these programs make them have green screens and sound. not only that but it takes too long to convert. this porgram converted quicker. if you dont belive me use the free trial of the porgram.

Usually green screens come from a codec not being recognized on the player you are using. I used to get those when I ported my computer to my tv set.

ok that means that even though im getting a green screen its due to the player (windows media player) cannot play .mp4 video files correctly. if that is the case then your are correct. but the problem is that i played the video with the psp itself and quicktime and it still shows up as a green screen.

I personally wouldn't pay for this, but if it helps someone get the job done, then I'd hardly call it wasted money (for them anyways).

» PMP/Full Screen AVC
I wonder when retail products like this start supporting PMP or AVC (optimized for PMPMod AVC).

Whats the point? Most 1.50 users use PMPMOD AVC which runs 480x272 AVC movies which is much better than the PSP,s native player...until Sony gets there *****in act together and unlocks the PSP,s true res, i wont be upgrading.
But the chances of this happing....very slim.

For all of you who use PSP Video 9 and all these slow PSP video conveters (No offense to the programmers of the programs) ... Look, just go to PQDVD.com and download 'PSP Video Express'. Not only is this software FREE, but it quickly converts videos at twice the speed of their respective playback rates. Basically, a 10 minute video converts in about 5 minutes.
As for those wanting the ultimate PSP video converter, then go to SonyMediaSoftware.com and purchase Sony Vegas 6.0... The software is $485, but it's not only for the PSP. It's actually an NLE professional video/audio post production suite. Many movie production companies use Sony Vegas 6.0 for damanding 5.1 surround mixes, and advanced video editing in high definition. Projects can be rendered to almost any resolution and bit rate; plus, in the 'Tools' tab, there is an option to 'Export to PSP'.
Sony Vegas 6.0 takes more time to render PSP videos, but it never drops ANY frames, meaning that the video playback on the PSP will be at NTSC quality (29.970 frames per second), and Sony Vegas uses the AVC (Advanced Video Coding) codec to encode PSP videos, while PSP video Express uses the MP4 (Motion Picture Experts Group Layer 4) codec to convert.
So for those who want a fast, simple, free solution to slow PSP video converters, go to PQDVD.com and download PSP Video Express (It's only 5 MB)
For those who edit videos the professional way, and want to put them on their PSP, 'get' or purchase Sony Vegas 6.0 at SonyMediaSoftware.com
And I'm sorry for the SPAM. I'm not trying to advertize here. I just like both programs really well and I'd like others to be informed about them.
