Just a few days after the release of iTunes version 7, Apple is already knee-deep in complaints from users. According to most users, the supposed upgrade doesn't "upgrade much." The discussion board is growing fast, and so far, the funniest thread title I've seen on the discussion board goes by "i tunes wont open... is there a phone number!!!"Recall when Steve Jobs demonstrated the features to an amazed audience (as usual), showing off features such as free downloadable album art, new view and sort methods, and gap-less playback. Thing is though, some of these iTunes features are not working. The bugs most frequently reported are:
I wonder why the Apple "stability" urban myth still propagates. |

I have actually been noticing a few problems in the new iTunes too. I have experienced "Music often becomes distorted during playback" and "Next track is played before current track finishes". Im sure they will release an update soon enough to fix all these bugs.
In reply to above comments, I have only ever purchased iPods from Apple so I can not really say much to it but iPods are actually quite cheap compared to the amazing quality of the product.
@ "apple", the taskbar player works fine on my computer.
» Cover artwork needs a your credit card details?
Why should I give my Credit Card details if I am not actually buying anything. It just anoy's me so much that you have to enter your credit card details before you can register with the store (which you have to do before you can download the cover artwork. Itunes 7 sucks, it doesnt work and if it does the its slow. Im sticking to wmp11 (downloads cover art for free). If you dont own an Ipod then dont touch it, its rubbish

» Cover artwork and other problems
#5- I filled out all the info and got my Apple account so I could automatically get all my cover art. The problem is this new iTunes 7 decides to grab the cover art about 10% of the time. All the other times it says "processing" or whatever and then leaves the album art blank. This version is unbelievably buggy. Today it wouldn't recognize my 5g ipod so i formatted and started over. Give us a bug fix Apple.
