iJailBreak is back and is now firmware 1.1.3 compatible. The program now also runs on the Mac OS X Leopard as well as Tiger. iJailbreak basically allows you to add third-party applications to your iPod Touch or iPhone. If you own an iPhone or an iPod Touch, perhaps you may want to wait a while before updating your unit to firmware 1.1.3. According to iLounge, there are widespread reports that the update is causing their iPhone and iPod Touch units to crash. Homebrew developer Michael Krause has come up with an amusing homebrew application for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch. Entitled RealArtist, it allows you to tweak your images in funny ways to add a little color and variety to them. It may not be a very useful app in terms of functionality, but we're sure you'll have loads of fun manipulating the images in your phone's photo gallery.
