If you were disappointed because you weren't able to join the iPhoneDevCamp last year, then you'd surely be glad to know that here's your second chance.

Via a press wire, we have learned that the iPhoneDevCamp 2 has been scheduled for August 1 to 3 for this year. It is described as a "not-for-profit gathering to develop applications for iPhone and iPod Touch using both the native SDK and web standards."

Adobe Systems will once again be providing the venue for the event, and the attendees include Cocoa Touch developers, web developers, UI designers, and testers.

There will also be ad-hoc project development teams and so it is encouraged for the attendees to team up based on their expertise. And while some of the activities are still being kept under wraps, here's at least a few that you may very well expect to happen at the Dev Camp:

• Create new applications for iPhone and iPod touch
• Migrate Mac OS X applications to iPhone and iPod touch
• Test and optimize applications for iPhone and iPod touch
