Apple's 'Let's Rock' event - Firmware 2.1 for the iPhone coming this Friday - Image 1

Finally? At the concluded "Let's Rock" event Apple held in San Francisco, new info was released for the upcoming Firmware 2.1 iPhone update coming this Friday.

Steve Jobs summed up the update pretty well. Perhaps too well, since he didn't elaborate on anything. According to Jobs:

This is a big update, it fixes lots of bugs. Fewer dropped calls, big battery life improvements. No crashes with Apps. Backing up is faster.

Elaborated or not, that's a pretty big update. Looking forward to that one.
