iPhone gets native P2P torrent software - Image 1iPhone Hacker core has created what a lot of other iPhone users must have wanted to see: a native transmission Peer-to-Peer torrent client for their iPhones. For now, the program is still in its preliminary stages, but the point is, it works.

A couple of things must be said here before you try using the application. The P2P program is still in its primary stages. It doesn't have a proper interface system yet and runs on command lines.

If that hasn't deterred you yet, the last thing you have to know is that the program crashes the iPhone unit. As TUAW puts it: P2P and EDGE don't mix. The top speed the program managed to get without crashing is 5kb/s. And that's still not a safe number.

Now, if you are still curious about the program and you wish to try it out for yourself, we must insist that you follow the link at the end of the article to read the documentation of the program. If you don't, you have a greater chance of crashing your unit. Plus, you probably won't know what you're doing if you don't.
