Having problems sorting through the apps you've got loaded on Apple's iPhone? Developer lg is releasing information on a new hack, dubbed SummerBoard. This application will grant the iPhone's home screen (SpringBoard) the capability to scroll, which should ease up your search process. It also allows you to add a wallpaper to your SpringBoard, in case you're looking for a more personal touch to your mobile.

Before you get started on downloading this, however, be reminded that SummerBoard is still under development - expect plenty of bugs. Erica Sadun over at tuaw reports that she had to reboot her iPhone repeatedly to get SummerBoard working.

SummerBoard is available for download via Installer.app Beta. This iPhone homebrew also developed by lg is a UIKit-based package manager that enables users to install or download on their iPhone via its Wi-Fi connectivity. It can also uninstall applications. Just remember to drop by lg's site for any information you will need to get the app running.
