 iPhone - Image 1

While the iPhone certainly has a lot of convenient features, we all know that Apple's latest gadget could use a little more beefing up in that category. Of course, we could wait for software updates to fill that need, but thanks to homebrew, that wait doesn't have to be that long. With Apple iPhone homebrew developer Layton Duncan's application, iPhone Search, at least one wait for one function is practically over. Here's the update on its latest version.

But first, what does iPhone Search do? It gives your iPhone the convenient ability to search for contacts, calendar events and dates - simply by tapping in one or two key details, like first name, last name, location or even a summary. Convenient!

Here's the changelog for version 1.07b:
  • Added support for firmware version 1.1.3
  • Calendar event results are now sorted starting from most recent
  • Improved unicode support in calendar event info
And if you find iPhone Search to be working out for you, and want to show your appreciation, then there's always donations. They go a long way.
