iPhone Chess v1.6 - Image 1Ready for another round of cranially challenging bouts between your peers? We've received word that  Robota Software House has released build 1.6 of the iPhone Chess homebrew game. This app, in case you're a first-time visitor, is a game that uses the GNU chess engine.

Players can move the pieces of iPhone Chess' interface using the phone's touchscreen. Other features this game carry include piece promotion, castling and en-passent capture.

The game also lets you load and save matches, and email a copy of the game to your friends.

This build is now expected to support the iPhone's firmware version 1.1.3. Those who may encounter problems while running this application will want to visit its original release site via the source link.
