iMac Software Update 1.2.1 for Tiger OS - Image 1Apple has just released the iMac Software Update 1.2.1 for the Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) on their official website. The patch is specifically for 20-inch and 24-inch iMacs with processor speeds of either 2.0, 2.4, or 2.8 GHz. This 13.3 MB download fixes a few problems on the Tiger OS that popped up when the iMac Software Update 1.2 was released.

The Mac OS X Leopard installation problem, which occurs after applying the iMac Software Update 1.2, has been fixed in this new update. This patch also improves the performance and reliability of graphic intensive games, useful for those who play video games on their systems.

The iMac Software Update 1.2.1 is a necessary patch if you use your iMac for gaming or plan on upgrading the operating system to Leopard. If you want to download the patch, head on to the official Apple webpage through our via link below.
