Feeling a little let down given that the previous iJailBreak release won't work on iPod Touch?

Fear not - the developers have just announced the release of  v0.5.4, which carries some much-needed compatibility for 8GB iPod Touch. The other big update it carries is the compatibility for iPhones running on FW 1.1.4.

The developers do note that this release will downgrade their bootloader down from 4.6 to 3.9. The devs also report that that jailbroken phones appear to have issues synching with iTunes.
