Homebrew developer ZodTTD has released gpSPhone v1.0.0. For those who missed our previous coverage on this application, it is a GameBoy Advance emulator for both the iPhone and the iTouch.

The developer addresses a lot of the issues in the program as well as improves the performance of the emulator with some of the games.

Here are all the changes that were implemented gpSPhone v1.0.0:

• Switched to using fullscreen landscape view
• Added transparent overlay for improved controls
• Fixed some of my changes back to Exophase's dynarec code.
• Improved performance in some areas of some games. This may be offset by the more intensive rendering to screen.
• Added 8way dpad support and A+B button (bottom right corner) for combo support.

If you plan on using this application, be sure to go over the documentation included with the file to avoid any problems. That said, if you've been using an older version of this program, you should really consider upgrading to this version of gpSPhone.
