Microsoft and Apple rivalry is nothing new nowadays, after Apple's advertising efforts have taken to the airwaves and become a staple of competitive adverts. But it seems a new development in the gadget scene is causing some annoyance, and that Apple has once again did something to keep an Apple product from working well with a Microsoft platform. Apple just rolled out a new software update for their Apple products, and a few iPod owners have found it has swatted more than just bugs. |

There's a GBA emulator on the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, and it goes by the name of gpSPhone. Sounds familiar? gpSPhone is based off of Exophase's gpSP homebrew emulator for the Sony PlayStation Portable. GP2X developer ZodTTD adopted the gpSP code and added a few coding tricks. And voila! ZodTTD presents gpSPhone version 0.4 and it though it leaves a lot to be desired in interface and presentation, it works like a charm. With future upgrades at the horizon, there's a lot of promise coming for Apple gamers everywhere. |
