Apple iPod Touch - Image 1The figurative gauntlet was thrown at Apple's recent Let's Rock event in San Francisco. According to Steve Jobs, the iPod Touch is "the best portable device for playing games". That's a grand statement right there, but then again, if you're selling something you wouldn't be touting it as the second-, third-, or whatever-best gaming device, now would you?

EA's 'Spore Origins' Arrives for iPod First - Image 1If having Spore on your computer isn't enough, then get yourself a copy of Spore Origins. It's a spin-off of the game for mobile platforms. New software would let iPhones access iTunes libraries from anywhere - Image 1iPhone and iPod owners know how much of a pain it could be when their unit's memory runs out and they still have lots of music they want to transfer from iTunes.
