Screenshot of biteSMS Apple iPhone homebrew application - Image 1If you think that your local mobile subscriber's rates are tantamount to highway robbery, then you might want to try out this alternative text messaging homebrew app for Apple's iPhone. Developer Brooke from Apple iPhone School recently announced a new build for biteSMS, which now includes additional language support as well as some new interface changes.

The latest release of biteSMS, now clocked at version 1.16, adds two languages: Italian and Dutch. In addition, the application now displays the total credits it will use when sending a text message. It certainly makes it easier to keep track of your SMS balance when forwarding text messages to multiple contacts.

If you're interested in checking out biteSMS, you can download it through BigBoss' community source repository (thebigboss.org/repo.xml). For more updates, drop by QJ.NET for more news on the latest happenings in the Apple homebrew scene.
