If only it were this easy to erase every wrong thing you did and restore your life back to the way it was... Too bad the Reset Utility is only for the iPod shuffle. You'd have loved it more.Regardless of what it cannot do, the iPod shuffle Reset Utility is very useful as it can fix a lot of problems you've been having with your player. The Reset Utility's main function is to restore the original iPod shuffle. This translates to erasing all music and data on the iPod and then reinstalling software v1.1.4. Take note though that this only works for First Gen 1 GB and 512 MB iPod shuffle. Here are some other problems that the iPod shuffle Reset Utility can fix:

Presenting the Hi-Gain Wireless-108G MIMO Router (or HWRGM1A as others call it). Either way its name is quite a mouthful, but maybe it's something you'll have to learn to remember - we feel that the device is so good it's name will be on everyone's lips soon! This little wonder lets you access any site and download music, videos or any other media wirelessly, and fast too (at 108Mbps). Plus it has AMP Technology too - beat that. But it's not just about speed: the HWRGM1A amplifies the MIMO wireless signals and makes sure they reach greater distances wherever it's used. And hey - it's got WPA encryption, too, to guarantee privacy. The only downside's that it's designed solely for Macs. Another reason to consider switching, perhaps? Hawking Technologies is now shipping the HWRGM1A in several regions. If despite its clunky name you find you've got the hots for one of these, check to see if your neighborhood electronics store stocks it. |

Liquifile 1.0 is a new file browser for OS X that's been developed by Carsten Waldeck, Maximilian Goetzfried and Iven Schmidt. This is supposedly an alternative Finder but with features that will allow users to see a bigger pictures of their files. Developers of the Liquifile are also saying that this new browser is ideal for searching and browsing the Internet without having separate interfaces. Organizing and finding files (even those created years before) will be very easy with the file browsing features of the Liquifile 1.0. The creators have provided a free 30-day trial of Liquifile 1.0 which will also have a new version released soon. The upcoming version will include basic finder functions such as copy, rename, delete, drag and drop, among others. Keyboard shortcuts and a powerful context menu will also be available with the next version. (It's not free, but money's not the developers' main focus - in their words, they want to bring about a knowledge browsing and user interface revolution, and whatever money comes their way will help speed this up. Sounds good to us!) For the moment, you might want to try out the new browser, Liquifile 1.0 and then send your comments to the developers of the program. They want to hear your reactions and suggestions about their project via your comments. Download: [Liquifile 1.0] |

You read that right; I did say fuel cell.A lot of companies support fuel-cell technology because it seems a perfect solution for recharging batteries of devices like mobile phones, PDAs, laptops and mp3 players. We've only seen products like Toshiba's reported fuel cell prototype (which, by the way, isn't even portable.) Now we have a company that's already started shipping portable fuel cells in several areas such as mainland China, Europe, Taiwan, US, and Japan. More Energy, a company in Lod, Israel and a subsidiary of Medis Technologies, has developed a disposable fuel cell that will recharge any device that needs recharging. The creator of this portable fuel cell is Gennadi Finkelshtain who is also the general manager of More Energy. His invention is housed in a flexible plastic shell (compared to a deck of cards, this one's a bit larger). To use it, one has to squeeze the shell container which will resist lightly before you hear a click. You then plug the cable in and connect it to the device you will be recharging. The fuel cell recharger pack from More Energy will be the first commercially-distributed device if the company meets its deadlines (in terms of mass production and shipping) come 2007. |

How soon? It's scheduled for release next year. I know you'll probably say that's too long a wait for the improvements, but I'm telling you, it's going to be worth the wait.Apple's Pages software will contain significant improvements come version 3. These "improvements" include the introduction of two new modes - Layout and Word Processing. The current Pages software handles these two types of documents with only one common set of tools and templates, but in version 3, the new modes will be utilized and optimized for their respective tasks. Document creation is expected to become easier with the new Word Processing mode. Features of this mode include a thesaurus that will be integrated with Wikipedia, Spotlight and Google, and a "robust grammar checking engine" for Pages. Another improvement which will be in Pages 3 is the Inspector's "Mini-Inspectors" which will allow users to get to frequently accessed settings with just one click. Mail Merge's functionality will also be dramatically improved as it will support mail merging to e-mail. Pages 3 will be included in iWork '07 which is expected to be released January next year. Other softwares contained in iWork '07 are Keynote 4 and a new spreadsheet application. |

After all, they both went through the same "humble beginnings."
Here's an evangelist who's so hell-bent (pardon the pun) on getting Apple computer founder Steve Jobs to "need" Jesus, and eventually accept him. How fixated is this man? Well, he even distributed this evangelical tract to help Jobs realize he should be humble enough to accept Jesus. The image you see is the tract that has been circulating all over New York's subway system, which is relatively close to Steve Jobs' home in California. The author of this one is Rich Robinson from Jews for Jesus. And yeah, he's really going all-out to convert the iPod guy to a believer. Let's see how far Robinson gets.

Here's a little device that will definitely get your attention.Think of an LCD projector that you would normally use for your class or office presentations, or for your own home theater to watch movies on. Now, make that projector smaller. As small as a mobile phone. We're not pulling your leg here. There really is a device now that's portable and very useful especially for those who have mobile devices like cellphones and iPods. The Nano-Projector from Explay is a mini projector which you can plug into your mobile devices directly. It displays the image on a screen as big as 30 inches. The Nano-Projector's engines are made with a proprietary ASIC that binds the components used including a unique laser-based diffractive optical technology and a proprietary technology for enhancing micro-display efficiency. The mini-projector from Explay will be released early 2007 for an as-yet-undisclosed price. |
