It's been a while since our last update of developer Francis Bonnin's special effects homebrew for the Apple iPhone, but we're here to make up lost ground with the latest version, Waves v1.5.

The newest build of this application includes a bug fix for the floating button display inherent with the 1.1.3 firmware of Apple. There were also a couple of other new changes based on the latest released firmware, as well as some settings used to customize the images being touched up.

Here's a breakdown of the latest list of changes since our previous coverage of Waves:

As an added disclaimer, the developer mentioned that the new bug fixes have yet to be tested with the latest 1.1.3 firmware. However, should you still encounter the floating button bug, you always have the option to press the "wave" button found on the bottom left of the screen to enable or disable the application.

To install Waves into your iPhone, all you have to do is copy the contents of the downloadable archive into the Applications directory and change the file permissions to 0755 if necessary. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this latest build to this amusing little application.
