If you prefer to type in abbreviated "txt" style but feel as if you have to type more formal-looking emails every now and then, then you should get Ettore Software's TypeIt4Me.

Originally developed for Mac, TypeIt4Me basically lets people on the go to type out words in their usual "txtspk" manner and the program will automatically spell them out properly.

For example, typing "brb" will make the words "be right back" appear on the text box. TypeIt4Me actually has a lot of common abbreviations stored in its database, but you can also add more if you so wish (or if anybody invents new abbreviations sometime in the future).

One of the most user-friendly applications on the Apple mobile, TypeIt4Me makes typing so much easier to compose email messages on the fly using your iPod or iPod Touch.
