It's time for yet another Get a Mac advertisement from Apple, and this time the amusing video clip features one of Apple's most useful feature, Time Machine.
Here we see something a bit different than the usual "Hello, I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC" intro that we usually see in the Get a Mac ads. Adding a more surreal twist (and humor) to the usual ads, viewers are greeted with the sight or several Macs lined up. So why the multiple Macs? It's just a nicely-done representation on how Mac automatically copies its files every hour so that users can still retrieve data that they accidentally deleted. Of course, it's always better to watch than to listen to us ramble on about a 30-second video clip, so just click on the Play button on the video embed below. |

I've been doing this for years; it's called "Saving As..." and "backing up my data". I guess Apple is finally admitting that they believe customers are too stupid and inept to run machines with potentially sensitive and precious data on them.
