Community BigBoss, known for releasing contributions such as Penguin Panic! and Tetris!, has offered another Apple homebrew delight in the brand line of Tap & Talk. Tap & Talk 8Ball is everything you'd expect from another virtual Magic 8Ball simulator, only this time with a Tap & talk twist.

You see, in the same manner Tap & Talk Clock used voice synthesis to tell time (al a Speaking Clock Deluxe), Tap & Talk 8Ball also sends out audible messages according to its answer. All you have to do is either shake the iPhone or tap the screen (obviously on the 8ball itself), and you'll get the answer to your question delivered to you in speech.

That'll help lots without actually needing to look at the screen for the answer, but do mind the volume - it could be pretty awkward around plenty of people in close proximity. The download for TT-8Ball is available through Installer.app, as long as you add community BigBoss as a source.
