If you're in the market for a good audio system for your iPod, you may want to check out Sony's new S-Airplay system. It's a dock for your iPod that is wirelessly connected to speakers you can put around the house.

It can support up to 10 speakers, which can be placed to as much as 164 feet away from the dock itself. You could DJ for your entire house if you wanted to.

Aside from transmitting tunes from your iPod, the dock also has an alarm clock, an AM/FM tuner, and can also connect to your home theater system. A bundle of one dock and two speakers goes for US$ 400, with each additional speaker costing US$ 130. The S-Airplay will be available starting next month.
