From two homebrew developers who call themselves LateNiteSoft comes a nifty homebrew application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. Sketches, currently in version 0.7 beta, allows users to scribble on their touch screens.

Since it's in a work in progress status, Sketches version 0.7 beta has limited features. LateNiteSoft promises consistent updates, but for now, everyone with Apple gadgets this app was made for can utilize a pencil tool which can draw in 24 colors.

The previous update made Sketches compatible with firmware 1.1.4 of the Apple handhelds. LateNiteSoft's sketching program can now share photos on the social networking website Twitter. To be exact, here's what you can find on the changelog:

Version 0.7 allows you to show off your sketches in Twitter! In addition, all export functions will now preserve the original photo orientation, given you have chosen one for your background.
