Looking for another way to stay connected with your Apple handheld? We're letting the readers know about the release of Siphon, a native SIP/VoIP application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. As its name implies, this app allows users to use Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), a form of VoIP. Siphon will run on iPhone/iPods running on 1.1.x firmware, and will work on external Microphone attachments in the case of iPod Touch owners. We've posted a download here, but given its absence of a readme, you'll want visit the developer's site via the source link below. Enjoy the download, and be sure to drop by again in case we run into any related updates. Download: Siphon SIP |
