Homebrew developers have been having a field day creating their own third party apps on Apple's iPhone ever since Installer.app was introduced to users. While a lot of these applications greatly help the functionality of your iPhone, some of them were made just to have a little fun on your mobile phone.

Case in point is a nifty homebrew app called RealArtist by Michael Krause. RealArtist is basically a graphics manipulating application, which tweaks your images in funny ways to add a little color and variety to them. Judging from the screenshot above, you can tell you're going have loads of fun with the stuff you have in your gallery.

The latest version of RealArtist now includes support for loading images from the Photo Library. To install RealArtist on to your iPhone or iPod Touch, the developer instructs users to download it off his repository by adding imimux.com to your Installer.app sources.

In any case, here's a history of the application's changelog since it first went live:

• 0.3 Support loading photos from the Photo Library.
• 0.2.1 Reduced color banding effect. Fixed orientation.
• 0.2 Current photo can be saved now. Older photos can be loaded.
