The iPhone-dev team has released a quicker alternative for their own PwnageTool: QuickPwn. It's not a PwnageTool replacement, but rather a tool for those who want to pwn their devices fast. As such, it doesn't have PwnageTool's more powerful jpsw customization features. QuickPwn 1.0 for Mac OS-X requires an iPhone or iPod Touch running firmware version 2.0.2. If you haven't upgraded your device's firmware yet, you can do so and then use QuickPwn to jailbreak it. Hit the source site below to download. Related articles: |
