Screenshot of QuickGold iPhone homebrew app - Image 2 If you need a quick and easy way to search through your iPhone's contents, then perhaps you should try this new homebrew app that recently went live on Cydia. Entitled "QuickGold", it basically allows a user to search and launch installed apps from your homescreen, similar to Spotlight on the Mac.

The good thing is that QuickGold takes up very little resources when searching for and loading stuff on the iPhone. In addition, no bugs have been sighted in this release of the app and that's always a good thing.

However, it has been noted that a certain app called "Springboard" pops up upon running QuickGold. It seems to disable all Springboard-related processes, so don't open this unless you want to respring everything.
