Those of you who have an unlocked or jailbroken iPhone running on firmware 1.1.4 can now enjoy some quick video blogging on the go with the new and improved version of Qik. An updated post on the Qik website indicates some easy steps on how to stream your videos from your mobile device on 'Net to Qik's online video blogging service.

To get Qikking on your iPhone, just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the Installer application and tap the "Sources" tab at the bottom.
2. Tap "Edit" at the top right and then "Add" at the top left of the screen.
3. Enter http://qik.com/iphone1 and wait for the sources to refresh.
4. Go to the "Install" tab at the bottom, find the Qik category to select and install from there.
5. Make sure you are on WiFi.
6. Go to your home screen, start Qik and hit the record button to broadcast to the world.

Please note that you need to have an existing account on Qik before you can make use of their service. Also, the current version of Qik is still not compatible with the new firmware 2.0. Hopefully, they'll be able to release a new version which supports the latest Apple software update soon.
