One of the problems with today's information technology is having to organize all that information. This is especially true for the internet, where information is virtually bursting at the seams.

Probably one of the more difficult things to organize is photos (another is music, but that's for another day). Flickr, one of the more popular online photo sharing communities, containing thousands of photos. That's a lot of photos to organize.

If you're a Mac user and you're a Flickr fan, you might enjoy this little application for the Mac OS X Leopard. Photonics is a desktop application that acts as a Flickr client. It's interface is more Mac-ish then the current Flickr interface so Mac users would feel at home.

It's still in its beta stage, but it's already looking pretty good. It can organize and upload hundreds of photos in Flickr. It also keeps track of your contacts, groups and navigation history. It's free too so there's at least no harm in trying it out. Download it by following the link below.
