December 18, 2007 marked the release of PopCap Games' Peggle on iPod. Having been downloaded 10 million times for the PC, it was a definite step forward for the developers. Now they're taking it a notch higher by releasing it in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish languages.

As Jason Kapalka, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of PopCap Games, puts it, "the clickwheel input of the iPod is a natural fit for controlling Peggle, so we knew this adaptation of the game would be amazing."

The game uses the clickwheel input and the high resolution display the iPod has. It also allows users to listen to their desired music playlists while playing. With all 55 levels, 10 magical powers and 75 Grand Master challenges, and two-player Duel Mode, PopCap Games promises to ensure iPod owner satisfaction.
