![]() Last week saw the release of gaming's sleeper hits, which include Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, as well as some commercial successes like Nintendo's phenomenal Wii Fit. This week won't see any flash-bang releases, but these new titles are no less deserving of gamers' attention and game time. PC gamers will finally get Bioware's Mass Effect, while Mac users will get their own taste of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360). With many exceptional ports coming out this week, it's going to be fun and games for everyone, regardless of what machine you own. Let's kick off this week's list right now with... Mass Effect. The Windows reiteration of BioWare's oft-mentioned and highly-publicized title finally hits the shelves, giving PC gamers a chance to experience Commander Shepard's exploits in the well-written space opera wrought with interspecies relations gone awry. Stronghold Crusader Extreme. Stronghold's update to the Stronghold: Crusader expansion lends monarchs the ability to have a 10,000-strong army of warriors. New structures and missions are also added to this castle sim expansion.
Buy: [Mass Effect (PC)] Buy: [Stronghold Crusader Extreme (PC)] Buy: [Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (PS3),(Xbox360)] Buy: [Monkey King: The Legend Begins (Wii)] Buy: [Emergency Heroes (Wii)] Buy: [Super Dodgeball Brawlers (DS)] Buy: [Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Mac)] |
