It looks like users will finally be able to make scheduled backups with Time Machine even when their Mac notebooks are running solely on battery power. This new option will reportedly be included in Mac OS X 10.5.3. More details in the full article. |

Another build has just been released for the Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard. What's interestring about this particular build is that the people behind the build 9D27 listed no known issues with the software update. Nonetheless, a few corrections were still made. Read more on this in the full article. |

The Mac OS X 10.5.3 build is a really critical update, especially when schools of students are depending on its release so that they can get their hands on a new batch of Apple computers. As it turns out, the New York City Department of Education recently ordered a lot of Apple computers for their schools, but the units are now currently being held because of a bug that requires the Mac OS X 10.5.3 to be fixed.
