Licensed by Atari and prepped for execution on the Apple Mac, Neverwinter Nights 2 has just gone gold, says Aspyr Media via press wire. And though we haven't heard of a similar adaptation of NWN2's latest expansions, this will be a delectable addition to the Apple gamer's collection.

Because like NWN2 on the PC, Neverwinter Nights 2 for the Mac will carry all the same features, quests, items, and gameplay (adapted for Apple controls, of course) for your capable hardware. But you'd need to have your Mac specc'ed out better than the following (spare yourself the burden - don't settle for equal hardware specs unless absolutely necessary):

NWN2 will set you back into the lands of Neverwinter in a campaign fans of the franchise have set out to complete in during the the first game's single player experience. Players are free to develop their character the way they wish (within D&D rules of course) and complete quests pretty much based on preference. But you'll have to wait until the game ships to retail next week and save up US$ 49.99 to take a copy home with you.
