Mysterious thinner, metallic-grey Apple MacBooks seen in Cupertino, California - Image 1When it was first released last year, people the world over were introduced to two simple versions of Apple's MacBook: the simple white case that its predecessor, the iBook G4, also sported; and the premium black option. Now, unusual versions of the laptop had been seen touted around Apple campuses up in Cupertino, California in the heart of Silicon Valley.

The new notebooks were described as having a "dark grey" or "gunmetal" hue being used around areas where Apple usually conduct "stress tests." Aside from sporting a new color, the unusual MacBooks were also said to be "noticeably thinner" than usual MacBook models and had a metallic luster.

No clear news yet if this will be the last time we see this particular MacBook color and enclosures. Keep it here for more updates regarding this.
