If simply listening to smooth tunes on your iPhone or iPod Touch just doesn't seem to cut it anymore, developer Ste has created a new homebrew app which allows users to connect to the Last.fm social music website. MobileScrobbler allows you to instantly update yourself with any related music or events based on the sounds streaming on your Apple gadget.

The latest build of this nifty app includes several new features which extend the functionality of the program considerably. Among these include a new radio player HUD as well as several matching radio icons. Version 1.4.3 also fixes several bugs that were popping up in previous iterations.

Here's a list of all the new features and bug fixes that found its way into the program since our previous coverage:

• Add an option to queue tracks while device is asleep
• Updated French, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Russian translations
• Fix a crash that can occur when playing a non-existant playlist

• Improved detection of duplicate scrobbles
