Macworld Expo 08 to be bannered by Steve Jobs - Image 1Event management organization IDG World Expo has confirmed earlier this week that next year's Macworld Conference & Expo will be bannered by no less than Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs.

The event is scheduled to take place from January 14 to 18, 2008 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California. Jobs, furthermore, will be delivering his keynote speech on the second day of the expo at roughly around 9:00 a.m.

"This is one of the biggest Mac community gatherings of the year and SteveĀ?s keynote is always the most anticipated event of the week. We're looking forward to a great show and are thrilled that Steve will once again be kicking it off," said IDG World Expo CEO Mary Dolaher.

The latest tally of exhibitors totals 350 companies transcending the fields of design, print, online, photography, broadcast, videography, and music. Among other things, Apple is expected to unveil the much-talked about ultra-thin portable notebook.
