Genuine skin shots or faux fur? That is the question! We're talking about the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard screenshots that have been making net appearances. The highly anticipated Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard is the upcoming sixth major release of Mac OS X for Apple's Macintosh computers. And it's no stranger to rumors - mostly based on Apple People's wishful thinking of what they want from their spanking new OS.

The screenshot on the left features the Finder and Internet Explorer. The breathtaking screen on the right is supposedly Leopard's desktop switcher. Of course, the best antidote for rumors is the truth. And we won't find out till Apple officially releases what appears to be the coolest cat so far either late this year or early next year.

 » Fake?

Linux has been able to do even more impressive things then that for almost a year now so why would this be fake?

well, if you had actually taken the time to read my comment, you would realize that i did not doubt this because it was "impressive" (i assume you mean both the visual effects, tiger has similar effects, and the windows virtualization, which isnt that hard because apple has access to windows API) i doubted it because it did not seem a sexy enough upgrade. although, now that i look back, it doesnt look that ugly.

 » This a fake

HI,

This very likely a fake unless someone genuinely says that what we see about Internet Explorer is really the Windows version running off BootCamp or Parallels' Desktop. It does not mean that a virtual machine has been implemented. We will now soon enough only 7 weeks before WWDC...

Armand, they are not saying that it is bootcamp, which simply allows you to boot into another OS, they are saying that windows apps could be run just as normal os x apps within os x. much like classic (which doesnt work on intel).
