Apple Seeds Mac OS X 10.5.3 (9d19) to Developers - Image 1

Apple's really giving Mac OS X 10.5.3 a good workout. Testing started late last month, and the last few weeks have seen successive releases of the latest Leopard version to developers for testing.

The build is now on version 9d19, which was released to developers yesterday. Build 9d19 is reported to have 31 bugs fixed from the previous version. The fixes were targeted at issues concerning AirPort, Back To My Mac, Space, Time Machine, and others.

It's encouraging to see that the average number of bugs reported recently are considerably less than when testing first started. Back then, over 75 bugs were reported. However, as much as Apple is kicking in the afterburners, there's still no set date for the 10.5.3's release.
