HBO & Apple Bring Critically Acclaimed Television Programming to the iTunes Store - Image 1This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship - for us, that is. Apple and HBO have partnered with each other to offer the TV network's programs on the iTunes Store.

The service offers up HBO's original series - everything from "The Sopranos," to "Sex and the City" - which adds up to more than 800 shows.

Prices differ depending on the series. Episodes from "Sex and the City," "The Wire," and "Flight of the Conchords" for example will cost US$ 1.99. Episodes from "The Sopranos," "Deadwood," and "Rome" are available for US$ 2.99.

If you're the type who wants everything in one go, you can also purchase entire seasons at once. The partnership was likely prompted by the coming "Sex and the City" movie. Check back for more news and updates on iTunes and other Apple products.
