Apple's iTunes 7.5 is set to correct various small problems with the software - Image 1If you've been having trouble with your iTunes lately, then Apple has just the solution for you. In a recent article published at AppleInsider, the newest version of the iTunes media software at 7.5 is due as early as next week and aims to deliver a number of small refinements.

The new iTunes 7.5 will feature software updates to increase stability and better management of duplicate song and video entries. The updated software also hopes to help iTunes Store customers attempting to upgrade certain standard iTunes tracks to iTunes Plus versions. With the growing number of consumers increasing due to the price drop of iTunes songs lately, this is mostly tied-in with reports of iTunes Plus upgrades causing the software to hang indefinitely following data downloads, eventually requiring a force quit.

So far, the update is currently in its late beta testing period and is targeted for a release within the next week. However, given the track record of Apple when it comes to critical software releases such as iTunes, let's keep our fingers crossed that the company will push through with the estimated release date. At the very latest, we can all expect iTunes 7.5 to be available by mid-November.

 » iTunes 64?

Hopefully this update will allow the iPhone to sync with iTunes on a 64 bit OS. I hate being stuck syncing my iPhone to my old computer.
