The recent GarageBand v4.1.1 update allows users to easily export portions of their own musical tracks for use as ringtones on the iPhone. If you happen to have GarageBand v4.1.1, iTunes 7.5 or later, and iPhone v1.1.2 or later, then you to can listen to your own rendition of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" on your iPhone!

Here's how you do it, in two easy steps.

1. Set up a cycle region that covers the area you wish to use in the GarageBand song. Note: This area must be 40 seconds or less in length.
2. Once the cycle area has been set, choose Share > Send Ringtone to iTunes.

Simple, right? Of course, if you want to make ringtone tracks that aren't based on your renditions of Britney Spears songs, you're welcome to send them our way.
