Apple's iPod touch music player - Image 1People listening to their favorite songs on iTunes should take the time out to click on the Software Update option and get the latest version of the Apple music browser. The Cupertino-based company recently rolled out iTunes 7.7.1, a quick follow up from last month's release of the iPhone 3G and the new firmware 2.0.

With the release of iTunes 7.7 during the previous month (which introduces support for firmware 2.0), this marks the first update to pick up from Apple's new firmware build. There weren't a lot of specifics as to what new features were included in iTunes 7.7.1, but the release indicates that it "includes fixes to improve stability and performance".

As we mentioned earlier, to download the iTunes update, just load the Software Update option found under the Apple menu of your music browser. We'll be keeping an eye out for more information regarding this update so make sure to drop by again from time to time.
