Remember the cool iBand video we picked earlier that featured two iPhones jamming with a DS? We're letting you know that we've identified the one of the other applications that was used in that clip: Drummer by developer iPhone homebrew developer">MooTheCow.

As the homebrew's name implies, running it turns your iPhone into a veritable mobile drum set. MooTheCow notes that Drummer currently carries these features:

  • A 15 sample Drum Pad for your iPhone / iPod Touch.
  • Multi-touch. Up to 5 pads can be pressed at once.
  • Animated pads illuminate at your touch.
  • Play along to all your MP3s.
  • Change between drumkits at the touch of a button.
  • The following kits come pre-installed: Rock, Dance, Jazz 1 and 2, and Electro.
  • Drumkits are fully expandable to allow you to add your own samples (see below).
The app is currently in the Beta phase, so anybody out there hoping to grab their a copy for their own jam sessions will have to wait. That said, we've picked up a video of Drummer in a solo act, to give you a better idea of how it handles. Drop by again in case we receive word of a public release. You may also want to visit MooTheCow's site via the source link for additional details.
