Deutsche Telekom has sold 70,000 iPhones - Image 1 Ever since the launch of Apple's iPhone last year, it has been gaining popularity in different countries. It could be because of the growing number of applications being developed for the gadget or just plainly because of the iPhone's cool factor.

As of this writing, Deutsche Telekom has been able to sell 70,000 units of the iPhone since November 9, 2007. It certainly is a lot considering it's only been 11 weeks.

Deutsche Telekom is the German mobile telephony arm of T-Mobile, the exclusive seller of Apple's iPhone. According to Philipp Humm, head of T-Mobile Germany, "The iPhone is by far the most sold multimedia device in T-Mobile's portfolio."

In addition to this number, Apple Inc has also said that they were able to sell at least four million iPhones all in all since November 28, 2007.
