CubeWorld for the Apple iPhone - Image 1A picture can always tell a story. But what if it lets you do the story-telling by making you feel you're part of the picture? CubeWorld for the Apple iPhone lets you view spherical panoramas - that's a 360 degree view of an image; it's as if you're really there!

Homebrew developer Marco Giorgini's CubeWorld renders images based on a OpenGL-supporting cubic map, allowing you to scroll and zoom with a panoramic view. Now on version 0.0.57, CubeWorld will let you alphabetically sort your images if you have more than twenty panoramas.

The previous build has added accelerometer support, expanding your horizons to include the up-and-down view. It also has an auto-panning feature. If you want to go left, just move your iPhone to the left once and it will automatically pan.

Most importantly, Cubeworld is free. If you wish to try it out, check the repository from the via link below or add http://www.marcogiorgini.com/iPhone/plist.xml to your installer sources.
